FR Bonjour je m'appelle David et je suis québécois. Je ne parle pas bien anglais, mais Google est mon ami. Cela dit, les images en disent plus que les mots. Je m'amuse avec ma tablette Wacom, Photoshop et mon Mac a créer, composer et améliorer des images depuis que j'ai douze ans.

J'ai commencer avec Paint, puis Paint Shop et finalement Photoshop. Globalement, je ne suis pas un amateur du vectoriel pour mon utilisation, je préfère le bon vieux pinceau et voue un culte aux divins calques.

Avant mon premier ordinateur, je faisais comme tout le monde: un crayon et du papier. À sept ans je dessinais des visages, ce qui surprenait plus d'un bonhomme allumette. Avant mes sept ans je dessinais des maisons. Pas la classique avec la porte et la fenêtre carré, mais de vraies maisons en isometrique ou point de fuite. (J'ai grandi en voyant mon père dessiner des maisons pour son travail).

J'ai tenté toutes sortes de formations en art plastique, mais étant académiste je m'en sortait assez mal avec l'art abstrait. De toute façon, je suis plutôt autodidacte.

Je touche aussi à la peinture, la sculpture, la couture, la photographie, l'architecture, la décoration et design. Bref la seule forme d'art que je ne touche pas c'est la musique. Aucune coordination. J'écoute que de l'instrumentale...(et de la musique de Noel).

EN Hello my name is David and I am from Quebec. I do not speak English well, but Google is my friend. That said, pictures say more than words. I have fun with my Wacom tablet, Photoshop and my Mac to create, compose and improve images since I was twelve.

I started with Paint, then Paint Shop and finally Photoshop. Overall, I'm not a fan of vector for my use, I prefer the good old brush and worship the divine layers.

Before my first computer, I did what everyone else did: a pencil and paper. At seven I was drawing faces, which surprised more than one stick figure. Before my seven years I drew houses. Not the classic with the door and the square window, but real houses in isometric or vanishing point. (I grew up seeing my father draw houses for his work).

I tried all kinds of training in plastic art, but being an academic I was doing pretty badly with abstract art. Anyway, I am rather self-taught.

I also touch on painting, sculpture, sewing, photography, architecture, decoration and design. In short, the only form of art that I do not touch is music. No coordination. I listen only to the instrumental ... (and Christmas music).
